Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Hey book nerds! I’m thinking I’m just going to do my monthly hauls here on the blog instead on my booktube channel. I don’t like to read the descriptions of my books before I read them so I don’t have much I can talk about the books in a haul video. I figure this way I can still share my new books and link up the Goodreads pages in case you want more information.
Let’s get started! I will link to the Goodreads page for each book below as well in case you want to check them out.
Kindle Book Sales:
None. I’m quite proud of myself for not buying any more Kindle books in June. I went a little crazy in May with the sales and I have so many books to read on my Kindle now. I’m determined to read some of them before I add more.
The only physical books I hauled were part of my unboxing videos. You can check those out here:
If you are interested in BOTM I do have a referral link you can use if you like. You get a free book and so do I.
I also have a referral link for Page Habit if you are interested in signing up for that subscription box. If you use the referral link you get $10.00 off your first box. I would also get $10.00 credit towards my next box.
NetGalley/Edelweiss Review Galleys:
Vicious Rumer by Joshua Winning – This is a YA thriller that is set in London. The bright cover caught my eye on this one.
Down with Love (Love Wars #1) by Kate Meader – I love Kate Meader’s contemporary romances. When I found out she was going to have a new series I just had to request this one.
A World in Blue by Danni Maxwell – I don’t know much about this one. Based on the description on Goodreads it looks like it is a heavy hitting YA contemporary.
Not for Me (The Windy City Chronicles #1) by Kat de Falla – This follows a literary agent and there was something mentioned about a Shakespearean actor that writes erotica. That’s honestly all I needed to know. It sounds hilarious.
Hot & Heavy (Lightning #2) by Tracy Wolff – This is a contemporary romance with a sport theme. I won’t lie. This is a cover pick. haha!
Eight Goodbyes by Christine Brae – A romance between a romance author and a scientist. This should be interesting.
Consumed by J.R. Ward – What? Ward has a new series and it’s about firefighters? Sign me up please!
Good Little Girls (The Keepers #2) by Rita Herron – So apparently this is the second book in a suspense thriller series. Which means I now have to look up the first book. I wish the publisher would state this on NetGalley. Anyway, it looks like a good summer read.
Built to Last by Julie Ann Walker – This is the 12th book in Walker’s Black Knights Inc. series. I don’t follow many MC romance series but I really enjoy the suspense aspects in this one. This romances are eh okay I suppose. They have been hit or miss for me.
Pieces of Her by Karin Slaughter – Woohoo a new Karin Slaughter book! Oh my gosh so much excite! I can’t wait to see what twisted path she takes me on next.
That my friends is it for my June 2018 book haul. The majority of the books added to my TBR were review books. That isn’t that bad right? Of course, this does not include the large haul of library books I borrowed in June. Libby and Hoopla apps are my weakness.
Let’s chat down below in the comments! What books have you added to your tbr recently?
As always keep on reading and stay book nerdy my friends!
