Hi book nerds! Somehow April disappeared and it is now May 1st. I still can’t believe how fast this year is going. I feel like I’m never going to catch up. April was a highly stressful and busy month for me. There were a lot of things that were still in transition for me but I do see a little light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve managed to sit down and organize my thoughts to actually plan some things out in my bujo so I feel a little less of a mess. That’s a start, right?

Let’s dig into the April wrap-up and then we can go into some of my plans for May.

April 2018

Books Read: 17

I participated in two month long reading challenges this month, Spring Into Horror and the O.W.L.S. Readathon. My wrap-up posts for both readathons will be going up here on the blog this week.

DW 2019 Project Total: $64.00

I am happy that for the most part I read books that I already own. Now if I could just stick to my quarterly TBRs then I could give myself bonus money. That didn’t really happen this month but there’s always May.

So what are my reading plans looking like for May? I haven’t really talked about it much here or on the channel but I have set a personal goal to read for at least 30 minutes everyday. I’ve missed a couple of days here and there, but for the most part I’m sticking with it. I’m going to continue this goal for May. I’m hoping if I successfully make this a daily habit that I can make a dent in my TBR.
Speaking of TBRs, I will be trying to get some more of my Spring TBR completed. I only managed to check off one of my Spring TBR books in April. I will be starting my Summer TBR in June so I need to try and complete as many off the list as possible this month. If you want to check out my Spring TBR you can watch the video below.

I am also co-hosting round 4 of BorrowAthon this month. You can check out my announcement video below for more information. I will have a separate TBR for BorrowAthon going up on the channel closer to the week of the readathon.

As for the channel and blog, I’ve been outlining and planning things. I did some brainstorming for blog and video ideas. Since things have settle down a bit at home I’m planning on going back to my filming and blogging routine. That means I will actually have content going up this month. What? I know, I’m excited too.

I went ahead and extended the giveaway from April. I didn’t have time to promote it so I wanted to allow a bit more time for everyone to enter if interested. Check out the giveaway here.

That’s it for my April wrap-up and May plans. Let me know down in the comments what your reading plans are for May. Will you be joining us for round 4 of BorrowAthon?  If you did a TBR post I’d love to check it out so please leave a link.

As always keep on reading and stay book nerdy my friends!

Task it Tuesday | Setting up my #bujo May spread #taskittues

Task it Tuesday was created by the fabulous Geeky Blogger and adopted first by Because Reading and now by Bloggiesta!

What is Task it Tuesday? Task it Tuesday is a weekly meme dedicated to the list makers of the blogging world 🙂 It’s all about being productive and organized – on your blog and in real life (if you so chose). By sharing our lists we get instant accountability partners and also get ideas of things to add to our lists (or sometimes ways to tackle tasks more efficiently). We hope you’ll join us!

It’s a new month. You know what that means. Time to set up a new monthly spread in my bujo, write up wrap-ups and set my monthly goals. Busy busy busy. I already set up my goals on a monthly and weekly basis in my bujo, but I decided to share them here with you. I’m hoping someone will be like “Psst Andie how’s that to-do list going?”. I need some motivation please! 🙂

I created my May monthly spread last night and set up my weekly and daily spreads for the first two weeks in May. Now I just need to fill in my goals and pre-schedule some posts. This is a very busy time of the year at work so unless I pre-schedule something there will not be any content on my blog or channel. So this week is all about brainstorming, planning, and scheduling. Also, I’m traveling this weekend so it all my tasks for this week have to be completed by Friday. No problem, right?

I’m not worried. Why are you worried? I got my bujo and pretty colored pens. I got this!

Here’s what I hope to get done this week. Please help keep me motivated or send caffeine. Caffeine is always welcome!

★ Pick 2-3 readathons for May and create bujo spreads for each

★ Prep posts for book review back log

★ Schedule 7 blog posts for May

★ Pre-film and schedule 5 videos for May

★ Share blog and booktube channel posts on social media

It’s a pretty ambitious list, I know. I’m so behind on everything though that I feel overwhelmed. I need to catch up and I’m hoping if I pull this off that I will make a dent in my backlog.

What tasks/goals did you set up for yourself this week? Let’s chat down below in the comments.

As always keep on reading and stay book nerdy my friends!
