My week in a nutshell is a weekly post I put up on Sundays to share what happened on and off the blog during the week. The Sunday Post is a meme sponsored by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received.
Finally the week is over! Forecast says it’s going to be a wet weekend though, so I don’t see myself going out much. I don’t know yet. I will play it by ear and go with the flow as they say. In preparation for the rainy weekend I have dug through my bookshelves to try and figure out a way to tackle my TBR. As a result, I have determined a few things.
- Books are freaking heavy and I’m sore now
- My TBR is out of control (but I already knew that)
- I still have no idea how to tackle it. I’m open to suggestions here book nerds :p
Let’s see what else did I get into this week…oh yeah by the way still sick. Yep, that’s right still got the cough and congestion. I hate it, but at least I can talk now. I’m hoping to get back into my filming schedule this weekend. I have some vlogs to edit and a book review to film. Other than that not much else going on this week. Things are weirdly slow at work, I’m thinking people are still getting into the swing of things after the holidays. I’m enjoying the slow pace for now because I know when things pick up it is going to be crazy again.
Before we go further into this week’s wrap up I want to send out lots of love and support to all the people that went out and marched during the #womensmarch all across the world. I wish I could have been out there marching as well, but I’m still recovering from this stupid sickness. I felt hopeful and inspired for the first time since the results of the election came in. It was amazing to see the footage on the news and the pictures on my Twitter of everyone that went out to the rallies and marches. The turnout was breathtaking and I loved that things stayed peaceful. So I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that went out to show your support and solidarity. Even though I couldn’t go out and I was stuck inside I was there in spirit. I stand with you! I can only hope that the momentum will not die down, and people will take this energy and use it to get more involved with their communities and most importantly to go out and vote. Our nation will never be “great” as long as we are divided. As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” We need to stand together, be kind to each other, protect one another and stand up for human rights. I plan to do just that by educating myself, and getting more involved. I hope you do too.
Now, that’s said let’s move on to the wrap-up!

I’m in the middle of some readathons, yes as in plural because I’m an overachiever like that. So I’ll share what I read during this week in my wrap up videos for the readathons instead of this week’s wrap up. Stay tuned to my Youtube channel if you’d like to know more.
