February WRAP – UP / March TBR

febwrapup

Good riddance to February! Ugh, what a stressful month it has been. I’m hoping March will be better. I guess we shall see. I didn’t quite get to all the books on my February TBR. I started the month out strong, but then I got busy and well it kinda all went downhill as far as my reading goes. It’s possible my Netflix binging contributed to that but hey I needed some mindless show watching. Here’s what happened this month…

My February Obsession:

I’m completely addicted to The Shannara Chronicles on MTV. I have not read the book series yet, but I’m hoping to get my hands on it soon. Is anyone else watching this show? Have you read the books?

Blogs I Stalked:

I love visiting and reading other blogs. I don’t often comment. I usually just like the post or share it on twitter if I feel the need to share it. I know, I know I’m working on the commenting. I really am, maybe you noticed me sneaking in a comment here and there. I’m really trying to show more love and support to the blogs I follow. I know how much work goes into this and how sometimes it feels like you’re just chatting at yourself when no one responds. These blogs are the ones I visited the most this month:

  • Sadly I did not have time to do any blog reading or vlog watching. Hopefully I will have time to make my rounds in March.

What happened off the blog:

renfest

I went to the Arizona Renaissance Festival with my family. It was a great day of laughing at the shows, oohing and aaahing over the clothes, and eating of all the foods. All in all it tons of fun. If you haven’t been to RenFest I highly recommend you do at least once. It’s quite an experience.

Books I Read:

My least favorite of the books I read in February was 99 Days by Katie Cotugno. I found the main character too annoying to enjoy the book. My favorite read was A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.  It was beautifully written and I loved the characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

How about you? Have you read any of the books featured in this post? How are you doing on your reading goals? At this moment I’m right ahead of schedule by 10 books on my Goodreads goal. Hopefully I can keep my momentum going somehow. I’m thinking maybe more audio books will help.  Well that’s my wrap-up for February!

Stay book nerdy & happy reading!
