November Wrap – Up / December TBR

novwrapup

Hiya book nerds! Man, is it me or did November just fly right by? It seems like the whole year is just a blur. Guess time really does fly when you’re having fun right? So November is always a busy month for me. There’s my birthday, lots of people I know have November birthdays too, and Thanksgiving. Let’s not forget shopping! I’m hoping to do most of mine online this year. People be crazy at the mall these days! I always struggle with keeping up on my reading schedule with all these distractions. Considering I’m already behind on my goal for the year, this is not good. I did manage to squeeze in some reads, just not as much as I wanted to do so I could at least be close to my goal. This year I decided to participate in NaNoWriMo as well, which cut down my reading time quite a bit. Anyone else struggle with finding time to read during this time of year? Let me know down below in the comments. Alright, let’s get on with the wrap up!

My November Obsession:
I am so hooked on Super Girl! Is anyone else watching it? I am totally loving the storyline so far. I’ve never read the comics so I have no clue how accurate it is, but I think it’s a fun show to watch. I’m wondering if anything will ever happen with James and Cara. Overall, I’m just enjoying that it’s a show about a female super-hero. It’s a nice change from Arrow and Flash. Don’t get me wrong, love those shows too. I just think we need more shows where the girl gets to save the day, like Buffy. I really miss Buffy.

Blogs I Stalked:
I love visiting and reading other blogs. I don’t often comment. I usually just like the post or share it on twitter if I feel the need to share it. I know, I know I’m working on the commenting. I really am, maybe you noticed me sneaking in a comment here and there. I’m really trying to show more love and support to the blogs I follow. I know how much work goes into this and how sometimes it feels like you’re just chatting at yourself when no one responds. These blogs are the ones I visited the most this month:
Girl Plus Books
Chrissi Reads
Mishi-Reads

Most Played Song:

Hello by Adele – this song gives me the FEELS like no other. The lyrics just…gah tears! Just thinking about them makes me cry.

Books I Read:

BooksreadinNov
dectbr

23453135

25394138

25430775

25639472

25738859

27209967

All the books listed above are review books that I need to read and review. I am aiming to get more books read for December, but those are the ones I have planned so far.

That’s my November wrap up! It’s a lot I know, but I had so much to share! I’m looking forward to December. I’ll be participating in some reading challenges like COYER. Woohoo COYER! I can’t wait! Is it weird I get COYER withdrawals? I really do love that challenge. It’s a lot of fun. If you haven’t tried it yet, I definitely recommend you do. You don’t have to have a blog to participate, you can just post your reviews on Goodreads and link to them. If you want more info just click on the COYER banner in my sidebar under Reading Challenges.

Happy belated birthday, Andie – in case I haven’t told you already. 🙂 Your November sounds like my October (with a lot of birthdays). And thanks for the shout -out – that’s very nice. 🙂 I love the cover for The Bright Effect! I need to look that one up.
